A screen repair at GoImpulse starts from €69. We give you the fixed price after the diagnosis and before any work begins, and you pay only once you have agreed. For most models the swap takes about 30 minutes while you wait in the store. You do not need an appointment.

How to recognise it

  • The glass is cracked but the picture underneath still shows.
  • Black or coloured patches, streaks or lines appear.
  • The screen stays dark although the phone rings or vibrates.
  • Touch does not respond, works only in parts or registers taps by itself.
  • The image flickers or has a green or purple tint.

What we do

  1. Diagnosis: we check whether the screen is really at fault or whether a screen protector, software or a connector is to blame.
  2. Fixed price: you hear the price before we start.
  3. Replacement: we fit a tested, good-quality replacement screen; original replacement parts on request.
  4. Function check: we test touch, picture, brightness and sensors with you.
  5. Payment: you pay only once you are happy with the result.

Good to know

What “the screen” actually is

On most current smartphones the cover glass, the touch layer (the digitiser) and the display panel are bonded into one unit. The cracked glass usually cannot be replaced on its own; the whole assembly is swapped. That is why even a small crack can mean replacing the entire display. On tablets the glass is sometimes available separately, but not on fully bonded devices.

OLED or LCD, and why it matters

An LCD is lit from behind, so black often looks slightly grey. An OLED lights each pixel itself, giving deeper blacks and a thinner panel. Its drawback is that static content left on screen for long periods can leave faint marks. Which type your phone has depends on the model. Replacement parts are matched to it, and a cheaper panel can differ in brightness, colour and contrast, which is why we use tested, good-quality parts.

Crack, patch or touch fault: what is behind it

A cracked glass often leaves the picture intact. Dark patches and lines usually point to a damaged display layer after pressure or a drop. If only touch fails, moisture, a screen protector or a software fault may be involved. So we check first, then replace.
