Camera repair for smartphones
Blurry photos, a black picture or a cracked lens cover: we check what is faulty in store and tell you the price first.

A camera repair at GoImpulse starts from €29. We give the exact price after the diagnosis and before work begins, and you pay only after you agree. We tell you how long it takes after the diagnosis. Often only the lens glass needs replacing, sometimes the whole module.
How to recognise it
Photos are blurry although the lens is clean. The camera image is black or the app crashes. The lens glass is cracked or scratched and marks the picture. Autofocus hunts or will not lock. The picture is shaky even when you hold still. Dust or droplets show in the picture and will not wipe away.
What we do
- Check: we test all cameras (rear and selfie) and the camera app.
- Diagnosis: we establish whether it is the glass, the module or something else.
- Price up front: you hear the price before we start.
- Replacement: we replace the lens glass or the module.
- Test and payment: we check focus and image quality; you pay only after you agree.
Good to know
Lens glass or camera module

A small protective glass sits in front of each rear lens. If it is cracked or scratched, the picture suffers, but the module underneath may be fine. Replacing the glass alone is then often enough, and cheaper. If the picture is black, blurred or autofocus fails, the module itself is usually at fault and is replaced as a whole.
Autofocus and image stabilisation
Many phone cameras move the lens using tiny magnets and coils to focus and cancel shake (optical image stabilisation, OIS). This is delicate. Apple warns that sustained strong vibration, such as from a motorcycle handlebar, can damage OIS and autofocus, and strong magnets in accessories can interfere. The diagnosis shows whether that has happened to your phone.
When software is the cause
Software faults or full storage can also stall the camera app. So we restart the device and check the app before replacing any part.
Frequently asked questions
From €29. The price depends on the model and on whether glass or module is affected, and is given before we start.
We tell you after the diagnosis.
Often, if the module beneath is fine. The diagnosis settles it.
Possibly: on iOS 15.2 or later a non-Apple camera module can appear as “Unknown Part”. Ask for original replacement parts if you prefer.
Statutory warranty rights apply, of course.
